Jamwest Motorsports and Adventure Park started as Jamwest Speedway in 2003. Located 28 minutes outside of Negril, Jamaica’s “casual capital”, the park is home to the largest speedway in the region. We are the only drag and circuit track in the Caribbean that offers an “arrive and drive” experience as an attraction.

Montego Bay
Jamwest Motorsports and Adventure Park was started 10 years ago with the first entry, Jamwest Speedway, back then it was only a 1/4 mile drag strip. Five years ago the owners decided to incorporate a circuit track which would include the existing drag strip. Work commenced almost immediately. The facility now boasts a 2 -Mile circuit racing and drag racing facility with adequate runoffs and traps and will shortly obtain FIA (international automobile federation) certification.
Recently, the owners decided to enhance the wetlands (morass) and natural spring ponds that exist on the property by making them more accessible. Everyone who had been to see them had found them to be interesting and it was believed that they would be a great addition to the package. To complete the experience they have also added an ATV Tour, a Safari Tour, Zipline Challenge, horse back riding, and of course Jamwest Speedway driving experience. The property is also home to the largest goat farm in Jamaica.
PUSH KART
Perfect decision for those looking an adrenaline pump!
The Push Kart is Jamwest’s own mimicking of what inspired Jamaica’s debut at the 1988 Winter Olympics to compete in the Bobsled category. The Push Kart gives you the control of adrenaline in your own hands, with the decision to cruise through the forest or feel the breeze against your face as you power through on our sled lines. Get ready to scream for half a mile.

HORSE BACK RIDING
There is something so compelling about riding a sleek horse along a lush green tropical trail and a remote beach. We dare you to permit the inner child to guide your senses through our spectacular landscape that stretches onto a soft sandy beach. Fall in love with our gentle horses, our bumpy trails and for 90 minutes forget that you’ve left the resort pool behind. This guided tour promises to linger in your memory, long after the end of your vacation. With a brief orientation to the horses, you’ll be saddled up and on your way. This tour needs no experience. However, such trails can also challenge the most advanced of riders. Jamwest assures you that our horseback tour is not a commercial endeavour but more of a bucket list experience.

SAFARI
The Jeep Safari tour is the perfect getaway for nature lovers! With competing forces of development, it is seemingly difficult to hear the birds sing. See exotic reptiles on a 200ft boardwalk in the center of the swamp system. Jamwest is one of Jamaica’s wildlife reserves and home to over 90 species of birds. Come, journey along our 300 acre property, our rugged trails will definitely romance you. Explore the depths of the mangrove forest, engage in our rich history and be reminded of the importance of environmental preservation. End your time with us, exhaling in seclusion, as you dip into a cool mineral bath. Soak in the luscious beauty of nature and get ready to say “ahhh.”.

ZIPLINE
Features eight towers that soar 60ft high, with 2450ft of zip-lines. Our “Racing Zip” is exclusive to Jamwest- having zip-lines running parallel, allowing 2 people to race each other simultaneously. Whilst you’re here, stop to take-in the stunning view of the Caribbean Sea and the southwest side of the island. Learn Jamaica’s history, ending your zip-line experience with either a 60ft rappel or the option of zipping across to our Rocky Water Village. This tour is worth the adrenaline rush. Just a mere twenty minutes drive from Negril’s 7mile beach, we provide an authentic and sensational experience. Beginners? No problem!
